Description

Class Experience

Students will practice listening, speaking, and comprehension skills while having fun searching for things in their home and sharing with the class.
I have a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and taught in primary (1st-3rd grade) classrooms for six years. I have an ESL endorsement and have more than four years of experience teaching online classes for kids.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
It would be helpful for your child to be set up for class in a central location of your house so they can access things easily. Please make sure your child knows what rooms they have permission to search.

After brief introductions, the teacher will review basic rules to keep the game fun and safe.

1. Safely search for your item (no running)!
2. Ask a grown-up if you need help reaching something.
3. Bring the item back and be ready to show everyone.
4. At the end of class, put the items back where you found them.
