US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Beginner - Advanced Level
After reading a book full of colorful animals and rhyming words, we will discuss the colors of the animals in the book and our favorite colors. Learners will then go on a scavenger hunt in their space (room, car, outside, wherever they are taking the class) looking for objects that match the colors in the book (brown, red, yellow, blue, green, purple, white, black, and orange). They will bring the item to the camera (if they're small enough) or just describe the objects to the class (if they're too big). We will discuss the objects each learner found and discuss how different spaces contain many different colors. We will continue to look for items as time allows. This is a fun way to learn and/or review colors! *Learners may want to have a water bottle close by while taking class. *Each learner must be registered to attend the class; however, siblings/friends can share a screen to participate in the class. *Please make sure your learner knows how to find and use the Mute/Unmute button. There are times when a learner’s background is noisy. Their mic will be muted by the teacher so the class and the learning and thinking processes are not disrupted. Your learner will then have to unmute their mic in order to talk. Zoom will not allow teachers to unmute mics anymore. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Learning Goals
Learners will identify different colors.
Learners will find objects matching the color the teacher names.
