In this class the learner will learn about a variety of “Scary” Ocean animals: what they look like, what they do and what they eat.
Class experience
Each class we will cover 3 Scary Ocean animals. We will look at pictures and learn what they look like, what do they do and what they eat. We will go through one animal at a time and then review for comprehension. We will utilize class discussion to encourage output and socialization. We will talk about which animal was our favorite and why. When we reach class 4 if time allows we will do a quick review of all the animals taught and we will talk about which animal was our favorite overall....
Students will gain a knowledge and interest of many sea animals.
I have taught many classes covering all things ocean. I am an avid scuba diver and snorkeler. I enjoy hands on learning about all things in the ocean.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Some images may be a little scary for your learner. For example the Anglerfish has a scary face with sharp teeth.
