Dan will teach Noel all the basics of playing the saxophone as well as getting acquainted with reading music and some music theory. Noel already has a great sound on the sax considering how long he has been playing! We will go over basic scales and learn new songs. Dan will show Noel exercises to improve his saxophone technique and his ability to read and interpret music. Dan understands the difficulties of first starting the saxophone and wants to make sure this class is as fun as possible because playing saxophone is extremely fun and rewarding!

My name is Dan Rose, I'm a professional jazz saxophonist from New Orleans, LA! I have:
- A Bachelors in Music from the University of Miami Frost School of Music in Saxophone Performance
- Played with artists such as Jon Herington from Steely Dan and Billy Petersen from the Steve Miller Band
- Over a decade of teaching experience for all ages/levels!
I can teach you everything from beginning saxophone/clarinet to advanced jazz improvisation/composition. No matter what age or level you are, I can help you progress as a musician with my knowledge and experience! A detailed list of topics I teach are:
