Saxon books are skill-level books, not grade-level books. It is essential that each student be placed in the text that meets his or her skill level. Success with one Saxon book strongly suggests success with the next Saxon book, so starting in the correct place is very important! Together we can do it!

This assessment is perfect for parents who would like to outsource math instruction, or do not necessarily feel comfortable teaching the material. I will meet your learner where they are academically and guide them through the material at a pace that is comfortable to them. 


APPROACH.
My approach to teaching maths is keeping the material fun and interactive. I don’t like to lecture - instead preferring to engage the students and make them invested in the material. 

SUPPLIES. 
I have digital copies of the EVERY Saxon Math Textbook, Worksheets, Tests and Answer Guide, so I am prepared to start at any point in the book, and guide your learner the rest of the way! Just bring your copy of the book, pencil, and paper to class! 


EXPERIENCE. 
I have taught maths for over a decade, and am a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. I also have two decades of experience in the homeschool / home educated community.
