Do YOU have what it takes to be an expert investor? There are several different types of investment opportunities that will be uncovered during the game. Learners will learn what those types and then get a chance to practice their understanding. We will use a combination of lesson games. - Learners receive cash to invest in their game. - During the game learners get a chance to brush up on investment type and have opportunities to create a diversified portfolio - Reflection questions follow the game, and the class will compare strategies they used. No prior experience to stock market investing is required.
Learning Goals
Students will improve understanding of stock market investments. How stocks, bonds and mutual funds work. It's a great life skill to pick up at any age - especially at a young age.

Parental Guidance
We will use Stax created by NGPF - a community-based resource for personal finance educators. Stax does not require students to create a login. Students work is not saved on the site.
Supply List
A one page handout will be provided in the form of Google docs. Learners have the option to complete it as exit ticket or reflection.
