Description

Class Experience

In this one time class, learners will describe the parts of a plant and identify the seeds, as well as practice the method of saving seeds and learn the steps. I LOVE to teach hands on and through projects, so this class is perfect for the kids who like to dive deep into science - HANDS FIRST! I teach through lecture, discussion and hands on application. 

Learners will need to bring ripe squash, watermelons, cantaloupes, as well as dried flowers such as zinnias, marigolds or snapdragons....

learners will need various fruits and dried flowers. They will also need a ceramic or plastic plate, plastic spoon and sharpie

55 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

In this course learners will either need to use a kitchen paring knife to cut open their fruits or have the fruit prepped before class.
