Saturday Spanish Club (Beginners Spanish)

In this ongoing loop class, we will meet once a week. Each week of lessons will have a different theme such as: 
•	My Family
•	 My Toys
•	 Weather
•	 Days of The Week
•	Colors
•	Numbers
•	Fruit
•	Vegetables
•	My Face
•	My Body
•	Animals
•	My World
•	Greetings
•	The Beach
•	Days of the week
•	Seasons 
*We will also learn the Spanish Alphabet*
4 week break down:
Week 1 Oct. 29: My family
week 2 Nov. 5:My toys
Week 3: Nov. 12:weather
Week4 Nov. 19: Days of the week
The class order will be as follows:
	We will begin each class learning a Spanish welcoming song
      We will warm up by reviewing Numbers, colors, and greetings
	I will then go over our vocabulary of the day
      We will work on a worksheet that will be provided for the class
	I will use flashcards and other visual aids to help with the student's understanding of the vocabulary
	We will then learn a song or poem to help with memorizing our new vocabulary words
	I will then do a game to assess their memorization of the new vocabulary of the day
	We will end class with a Spanish goodbye song

Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, Spanish Alphabet, Spanish greetings, and simple sentence structure. I will use methods such as songs, games, visuals, and flashcards to help the students engage and interact in the lessons. I will provide worksheets for class so that the student can be reviewing what they learned throughout the week. This will help them maintain all they have learned during the lessons. My goal is that these classes will help in laying a great foundation for speaking Spanish.
