Class Experience

Students will be better prepared to tackle the writing and language section of the SAT.
I have a master's degree in English and Creative Writing and have been helping seniors/12th graders prepare for the SAT for nearly a decade. I also have experience in teaching and preparing for other standardized tests such as the ACT and AP (Advanced Placement) Literature and Composition exams.
Students will complete practice questions after class on weeks 2 and 3.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed through their participation in class, their homework practice, and the mock SAT. I will provide students feedback on how to better improve.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be using Nearpod in class for both my instruction and student practice. You do not need an account for Nearpod. Students will simply click on the link I put in the Zoom chat, type in their name when prompted by Nearpod, and then they'll be ready to go!
