55 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
US Grade 8 - 11
This ongoing class provides students with a chance to practice for the SAT Math! Each class will start with a 10 minute practice exam. The rest of the class period will then be spent debriefing that exam by talking through how to do the problems, what kinds of math topics were covered, and what testing strategies might have helped in the situation. Each class is a stand alone experience but there will be a different practice test for each class, so students are encouraged to attend multiple classes in order to see all the topics the SAT Math has to offer! The debrief period will be discussion based and participation/questions are encouraged. Feedback and resources can also be provided after class for students looking for direction on what math topics they should further study. Each practice test will cover a little bit from each of the four subscores: Heart of Algebra, Passport to Advanced Mathematics, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, and Additional Topics in Mathematics.
Learning Goals
Students will practice for the SAT Math.
