Applying for college is a stressful and confusing time. There are so many choices and this is a big decision. If you and your child have a specific university you’ve been dreaming about, how do you best increase the chances of getting accepted? You can get a leg up on the process by hiring someone who’s been there, a partner to help you and your child during the process, someone who understands the evaluation criteria along with the type of university or college that makes the most sense for your student’s personality and desired goals. In this course, I will help your son or daughter with their individual needs to prepare them for the SAT exam. The hour will be spent on any topics your child needs assistance in. I will send you a few questions to get to know your child before the course begins so that I can tailor the hour to your child's needs. This course is targeted at students 12 and older who are preparing for the SAT exam. Preparation for the SAT Exam will including building exam techniques for all sections of the exam. -Reading Comprehension -Math -Writing

We will focus on some of the most challenging aspects of the exam including content on
- Inference Questions
- Building Vocabulary
- Grammar and punctuation
- Math Word Problems
- Advanced Math Concepts (Precalculus and trigonometry)

Supply List
Students will be provided with all required materials for this course. However, it is recommended that students have a printer available to print out these materials as the SAT is a paper exam.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
