Description
Class Experience
Students will learn what math and English topics will be covered by the SAT test, tips on test taking, and see a practice question/solution from each subject. Student will have a better understanding of what the SAT test is testing the learner on specifically, and will have their own guide for self study.
I've taught SAT/ACT prep for several years. As the test has changed, so has the content of my lessons. I've taught freshmen in high school through senior year.
There will be no homework! However, I strongly encourage students to take notes. I'm going to give you the topics covered by the SAT, so you will use your notes as a guide in your own study time.
Something to take notes on, whether that be a notebook and pencil or a laptop or tablet.
There is no letter grade awarded for this class. This class will give the student information to aid them in preparation for the SAT's. I encourage note taking for their benefit; they will not be graded on it.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No subjects outside the appropriate SAT testing content will be discussed.
Will discuss in class resources the students can utilize for further study.
