In this ongoing class, students will work on speed and accuracy with responding to SAT and ACT grammar, writing, and vocabulary questions on a weekly basis.

First, some feedback about this class: "She’s fantastic! (My teen) has improved so much in three weeks thanks to her lessons." This class will cover grammar, writing, and vocabulary questions as found on the SAT and ACT tests. Multiple questions will be covered each class in order for learners to gain speed and accuracy in answering questions. Students will learn basic foundational grammar concepts. Students will learn how to look for the most streamlined (and correct!) answers. Students will be exposed to unfamiliar (and/or new) vocabulary. Students will learn to move quickly through passages.
I've taught writing and grammar to middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college freshman. With my knowledge and understanding of grammar and writing rules, plus my eye for details, I enjoy walking my students through learning some of these skills in order to help them become more proficient and better equipped before taking these important tests.
Standard Outschool technology = computer/laptop/Ipad and reliable internet connection. While possible, it is not recommended to use a cell phone as screen/text size and chat features would be challenging to use and likely negatively impact the learner's response time.
