First, some feedback about this class: "She’s fantastic! (My teen) has improved so much in three weeks thanks to her lessons." This class will cover grammar, writing, and vocabulary questions as found on the SAT and ACT tests. Multiple questions will be covered each class in order for learners to gain speed and accuracy in answering questions. The teacher will help guide learners through problems, using logic and knowledge to deduce the correct answer. Learners will gain confidence and skill as they practice a different set of questions each week. Learners will interact with classmates and the teacher as we discuss the questions and answers. All learners will need to participate, using microphones (preferably) or the chat in order to respond when it is their turn. Additionally, learners need to be at a high school reading level. Beyond that, no prior experience or knowledge is needed. For optimal results, learners are encouraged to begin this class two to three months before their scheduled test date. However, some practice is better than no practice, so please drop in at any time! This class runs on a 12-week cycle. Each day that this class is offered will have a different set of questions (A-X slide deck). Thus, learners can take more than one day a week for maximum exposure and practice opportunities. Furthermore, learners can come in at any time as each class covers a different set of questions and does not build upon the previous class. Note for your planning: 2024 SAT Test Dates: Oct. 5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7 2024 ACT Test Dates: Sept. 14, Oct. 26, Dec. 14 Together we can successfully prepare for these important tests!

Supply List
Standard Outschool technology = computer/laptop/Ipad and reliable internet connection. While possible, it is not recommended to use a cell phone as screen/text size and chat features would be challenging to use and likely negatively impact the learner's response time.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
