SAT / ACT English, Reading, Writing and Essay - 1 on 1 Test Prep Tutoring

The advantage of one-on-one tutoring for test preparation is that it allows me to personalize suggestions to fit the particular student's needs.  Students will complete a preliminary test from which I will choose areas to focus on during our initial live tutoring session.   During the session we will discuss areas of potential weakness and strength.  Then we will work together to implement strategies that are likely to increase test scores.  Students will have opportunity during their independent work outside of the live session to practice the methods discussed.   We will meet again and evaluate the progress together while looking for other areas that need improvement.  This cycle can be repeated as often as the student/parent wishes.  Please let me know what times you would prefer to meet, and I will do my best to schedule the sessions when most convenient for you. 

This tutoring only focuses on the verbal portions (English, Reading, Writing, and Essay) of the SAT or ACT, since those are my area of expertise.  I could also assist with the Science section of the ACT.
