Description
Class Experience
While this class is largely designed to entertain and enchant young dinosaur enthusiasts, we will learn some fascinating facts about the triceratops during this interactive session, including what this dinosaur ate, when it lived, and how a baby dinosaur grows. Learners will also get to see a real triceratops fossil and learn how paleontologists tell dino bones apart from regular rocks.
Carissa Hurt has created educational programs in museums for nearly a decade! Having worked with everything from mammoth bones to mummies, she understands the magic of the past. With an undergraduate degree focusing in archaeology, a Master's in Museum Studies, and a love for dinosaurs, Carissa is well prepared to engage and inspire young students looking to giggle and grow!
Students should come prepared with their Christmas wishlist to share with Georgia the Triceratops, Santa's prehistoric helper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class relies on make-believe and magic from each and every student! Please ensure your learner is ready to use their imagination when meeting Georgia the Triceratops.
