Welcome to Santa's Escape Room! In Santa's Escape Room, you are Santa's Head Elf! It's Christmas Eve and you have to help Santa deliver all of the presents before dawn. We will solve puzzles while learning how to wish Merry Christmas in different languages all over the globe! While on your journey, you'll be completing puzzles on each continent. After completing the puzzle successfully, you'll learn a new language for how you can say "Merry Christmas!" Santa reminds you that people wish each other Merry Christmas differently all over the globe. Our differences make us unique, and learning new languages is a fun experience that we'll be practicing together! Bring your creativity and thinking caps, because our puzzles will involve riddles, math, and critical thinking! *This class is not a typical "escape room" in the sense of getting out of a room, but more along the lines of solving puzzles, riddles, and clues in order to advance to the next continent on our journey around the world. **IMPORTANT TEACHER NOTE: I am expecting a baby anytime before 12/24, so class may be cancelled last minute due to this exciting event! I apologize in advance, and classes will resume as soon as I am able after the holidays!

- Something to write on and write with - scratch paper, sticky note, whatever is handy. Pen, pencil, whatever you have. - Calculator (using a calculator on the computer/tablet is fine) - We will be using the Chat feature in Zoom (no installation needed as this is already a feature provided in Zoom, just a heads up in case any adult supervision is needed)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
