Summer Time is Travel Time! Join Aunt Sam's Storytime, as we take a trip around the World by means of a delightful Picture Book, "How to Make an Apple Pie and see the World" by Marjorie Priceman. Through questions and discussion, we summarize the book to enhance comprehension. Then we share! We learn some geography, TOO. A Coloring Page is provided. Where are you traveling to this summer?!
- To improve and practice listening, attention and focus skills Retell some story facts and events. Answer basic comprehension questions Act out their favorite part or a scene from the story Share and discuss customs from countries and the importance of friendship.
I've read this book many times in many different classrooms and settings. With my crazy facial expressions, the book comes alive. Enjoy the show!
