In this ongoing club, students (ages 14-18) will learn about and have discussion around sailing, sailboats, sailors, and all things sailing related. I also offer a separate "Sailing Club" for ages 9-13.

Class Experience

Ahoy! In this ongoing course, students (ages 14-18) will learn about and have discussion around sailing, sailboats, sailors, and all things sailing! I also offer a separate "Sailing Club" ongoing class for ages 9-13.

Since ongoing classes do not build upon each other, it’s not a problem if a student cannot attend every session.

Class Schedule:
-Greetings (~2-3 mins)
-Sailing Terms of the Day (~2-3 mins)
-Sailboat Tour/Sailing Videos/Sailing Discussion/Share (~20-25 minutes)
-Wrap Up and...

Students will improve their understanding of sailboats and have discussion about sailing related topics.

Sailing is my passion! I have over ten years of lake and ocean sailing experience. I am skilled in breaking down the complexities of sailing to a basic level.

Optional Homework: Students are able to prepare and bring sailing stories, pictures, videos to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
