Hey, are you a fan of the RWBY and the amazing world of Remnant? Then you have come to the right place! This is a fun and inclusive club for fans of the anime RWBY to hang out and interact while talking about the show. Throughout this ongoing course, students will engage in leaner directed discussion about the show. To help students engage in conversation I will always come with a wide range of questions like would you rather, who would win, If you could, and other conversation questions about the show RWBY. These questions are designed to get the students talking and I may occasionally use clips to help stimulate conversation as well. There will not be a specific weekly topic, instead, students are free to take the conversation in whatever direction they like about the show. When new volumes or episodes come out we will watch them as they air on our own time and then we will talk about them the following week as they come up. The discussion topic will include but not be limited to, the plot, different societies, characters, and the Grimm of Remnant. While this class is a discussion course and so, I strongly encouraged learners to take part in the conversation. I understand some students may not wish to talk as much, so they are free to sit back and listen if that is what they want to do. *Please note this is an ongoing class, students can come and go as they please. I will start with season one, but if there are any special episodes or season learners want to request or focus on, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate them.
Learning Goals
The first goal is for the learners to have fun and interact with their peers. Students will practice their social skills by listening and discussing with their peers. They will also examine different elements of storytelling like the theme, plot, conflict, choices, etc. Lastly, there will also be chances to work on respectfully disagreeing with others on some topics.

Parental Guidance
We will be watching the anime RWBY it has some mild violence, darker fantasy elements like monsters called Grimm, swearing twice so far in the series but both times the character is stopped, and children fighting Grimm. If you have any concerns, there are wonderful websites that provided more in-depth reviews of the show’s content.
Students will be encouraged to review or re-watch some episode ahead of class.

Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from University of Wyoming
Hello everyone! I am so happy to be teaching at Outschool. My first goal is to create an engaging and fun environment that will help foster a genuine love for learning. My passion is to help students discover what they want to learn about whether or not it is academic.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences and have been working with school-age children for over nine years. I started working as a Youth Advocate where I taught students’ academic, social, and communication skills. This is where I fell in love with teaching kids by accident and realized how life-altering a true interest in learning anything can be. Since then I’ve worked with an after-school program in which I got the joy of instructing large groups of students in creating various arts, crafts, and science projects. Last, I spent five years teaching as a Paraeducator with higher needs students for a local elementary school before going freelance this year as an ESL teacher. My years in the classroom have made me comfortable teaching academic (math, reading, writing), behavioral, and social skills.
Outside of the classroom, I spend my time doing art, writing, hanging out with my family, and playing with my crazy ferrets. My parent also developed a curiosity about the natural world throughout my childhood I spent many days at museums, camping, and outdoors in my youth. That is why I often spend a considerable amount of my free time reading about animals, dinosaurs, and other prehistorical creatures. As a lifelong learner, I spend far too much learning about various topics in many fields including psychology, sociology, and other fields related to social sciences. I hope one day to get my Master’s in Social Sciences and teach at a college.
