CLASS EXPERIENCE: MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION. This edition can be played on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS. We will NOT be using Minecraft Java Edition. AGE RANGE: This class is designed for all ages and skill levels. Basic knowledge of English and Computers will be highly beneficial. Prior experience with Minecraft is not required. CLASS OVERVIEW: In this class we will be learning about the History of The Russian Revolution within the video game of Minecraft. The Russian Revolution was an important event in world history that changed the lives of millions forever. The ideas of the Russian Revolution later spread throughout Europe and Asia. The Cold War would later emerge because of these ideas and beliefs. The Russian Revolution is vital to learn to fully understand the world around us. We will take a tour of the Red Square in Moscow through the game of Minecraft. We will get to see what the Russian Revolution was like and why it changed the world around it. We will get to see the Russian Revolution like never before! The Russian Revolution should not just be kept in history books.
Learning Goals
In this class we will start our tour in Moscow. We will learn why the Russian people revolted against their Tsar and turned to Communism as a solution. Life was completely changed across much of the world because of the Russian Revolution and it needs to be taught in a more engaging way. This class aims to do that. History will be brought to life!

Parental Guidance
Some of the topics being discussed will involve sensitive topics, such as religion and war. This course will provide multiple viewpoints and come from a neutral standpoint. History is not always positive and this course will reflect this. The class is designed for children and is suitable for all ages.
Supply List
A Minecraft account (also known as Minecraft Bedrock Edition) must be purchased by the learner. Learners will receive access to the Minecraft server address to connect to. Minecraft Java Edition will NOT work. A pair of headphones and microphone are also needed.
