Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in Russian.
Children will:
-review letters and sounds
-develop phonemic awareness
-develop reading skills
-practice small motor skills (writing skills)
-speak using active vocabulary 
-acquire new vocabulary
-develop critical thinking
-listen to Russian poems and songs
-be exposed to Russian culture through traditional Russian fairy-tale and cartoon characters
-a few pages of activities will be provided after each class
-the learner will need a notebook, a pencil and markers/crayons/gel pens
-printouts (will be provided in the classroom tab) -a notebook -a pencil, markers/crayons/gel pens
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
