This is a weekly class where students will learn how to read and write in cyrillic script, as well as communicate in Russian language. Each lesson will be focusing on a specific theme or aspect of life.
Class experience
This class will be perfect for students who are interested in learning about new languages and cultures. We will start each class by covering the foundations of Russian language - such as Cyrillic script and proper pronunciation of Russian sounds. We will then learn and practice using some basic words and most common phrases. Each week we will be learning something new about life in the biggest country in the world. We'll talk about Russian food, celebrations, sports, arts, history and...
This class is taught in English.
Students will receive a pdf file with the materials learned in the class at the end of each session. Please have a notebook to keep and use throughout the course. A pen and a highlighter if you like it pretty!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
