Russian From Beginner to Intermediate
Russian for heritage and non-heritage learners, with no or minimum language background.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
In my lessons we will start with sounds and letters. After decoding cognitive words we will move on to adapted texts for reading comprehension , once the student reads and understands we will practice speaking on the familiar topics/texts. As lessons progress we will be adding grammar and continue mastering comprehension and speaking. We will use discussions, slides with pictures, video clips and a variety of teacher handouts.
To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.This class is taught in English.
I have MA in Slavic studies , and I am a native Russian speaker , teaching Russian for over 10 years to native and non-native speakers.
Homework Offered
Homework is essential part of learning, as it students get to practice and master the material learned during the lesson. Homework may take from 30-60 min . Materials for homework are provided.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
