This section is for learners who finished Level 1 with me and want to continue learning Russian language. We will continue with most common conversations such as greeting, discussing weather, family, age, professions, money. -Greet people and make small talk about name, age, and family -Ask simple questions about family, age, food, time, friendship -Use adjectives in order to describe people, places, and things -Discuss interests, occupations and hobbies -Use common verbs in the present and future tense -Order food from a restaurant -Discuss food and meals -Buy items in a market/store -Discuss colors -Answer questions about domestic animals -Count to 500 -Use math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division -Discuss the town, house, and furniture Last day is Cooking: Russian salad Olivie We start reading and memorizing simple basic words such as family members, animals and others. We will be exploring Russian culture through short videos and conversations". I talk about geography, architecture and climate of Russia during my lessons explaining the culture of this beautiful country. I have been teaching in Russia and USA and can compare and contrast both educational systems. I use Kahoots and Pear desk software to practice the grammar and vocabulary checking for understanding. All sessions will be recorded and posted and materials provided. Here is breakdown of how each week will look in class: Week of June 27: Greet people and make small talk about name, age, and family -Ask simple questions about family, age, food, time, friendship Week of July 4: Use adjectives in order to describe people, places, and things -Discuss interests, occupations and hobbies Week of July 11: Use common verbs in the present and future tense -Order food from a restaurant -Discuss food and meals Week of July 18: Buy items in a market/store -Discuss colors Week of July 25: Answer questions about domestic animals -Count to 500 Week 6-Use math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Week of August 1: Discuss the town, house, and furniture Week of August 8: Cooking: Russian salad Olivie Share a personal story in Russian * After this week, topics will circle back to the first week
