Teacher expertise and credentials
I was born in Russia - Saint-Petersburg (Leningrad at the time) but my father is from Siberia. We moved to West Siberia when I was a child and I was taking long journey throughout the entire country by train every summer. One way trip was taking 3 days and during this time I could meet a lot of people and learn a lot about the country and it's culture. Later in life I came back to live to Saint-Petersburg and also spent a couple of years in Pskov, little town close to the border with Baltic countries... Of course, I also have some formal education on Russian geography and social studies while studying in school & University, but this deep connection with the country through understanding its people is irreplaceable.
