In this one-time, live class, students will learn about volcanos and do a hands-on experiment. We will start our class by signing our greeting song. Students are encouraged to tap on their play drum or container during our song. Then we will talk about what is a volcano, fun facts, layers of the earth, and the different types of eruptions. Towards the end of the class, students will have the opportunity to make their own volcano and make it erupt. Students will learn in a highly supportive environment through the use of pictures, props, and hands-on activity. Parental guidance is advised for the safety of the students during the hands-on activity and in case your child needs assistance.

Supply List
Measuring spoon- 1 tablespoon, ¼ teaspoon 1/4 cup of water Red paint ½ cup of vinegar Baking soda About 3 oz cup (disposable bathroom cups, baby food jar, Playdoh container) Playdoh Cookie sheet or something to catch the spills Play drum or container (something they can tap on while we sing our greeting song)
