US Grade Preschool - 1
In this one-time class, students will enjoy an interactive read aloud of a Christmas classic: "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Robert L. May. This is a long story, however, I will do my best to break up the reading with some movement activities as well as asking students reading comprehension questions about the story. After the story, students will follow along to make a Rudolph Handprint Ornament. Before class please paint your child's hand with brown paint and stamp it onto a piece of paper (or trace and cut out your child's hand with a pencil on brown paper). I will guide your child to finish the rest of the craft.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to answer comprehension questions about the story.
Students will understand pre-reading skills, such as, words are read from left to right.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental guidance for scissors and hole punch.
