Class Experience
This American song is a wintertime classic and Rudolph is an icon worldwide. We will delve into the touching story of perseverance behind the song's origins and discuss interesting facts regarding the song and how it relates to American popular history. Learners will be introduced to the parts of a song, ie, verse, and chorus so that after the song itself is sung, we can discuss it in the correct terms. As we sing the song, we will stop and look at the lyrics, finding keywords to discuss...
Learners will learn how life's stories and history can be discussed through the context of a song. Learners will gain perspective on how being different and unique can be a benefit to others. Learners will gain a new understanding of the parts of a song.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music and have been teaching music for many years! I have had a love of singing and songs from a young age and am looking forward to opening up the world's most famous songs to your learners!
Optional essay regarding how the learner's unique traits can be "harnessed" and used to help others.
