The four sessions will last for 30 minutes. I will model the algorithms to solve the 3x3 Cube and will assist students as they practice. This is a very interactive class and I connect with both students to ensure that each is progressing. It's super helpful if students understand the difference between clockwise and counter (or anti) clockwise, but we can cover that if anyone forgets! :) Session 1- We'll solve the first layer. I've been teaching Rubik's Cube classes, clubs and running school competitions for several years. It's so fun and somewhat addictive! It's also a great alternative to screen time! You won't be able to put the Cube down!
Students will need to practice the algorithms outside of class.
Each student will need a 3x3 Rubik's Cube.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
