Description

Class Experience

Overview: Students will practise writing creatively while learning about Colonial era America and ELA standards such as grammatical and punctuation rules. 

Each week, the students will be introduced to a moment in revolutionary american history ending in the duel between Vice President Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. The students will be given RPG style turn based group battles with supernatural creatures and are only allowed to bring what notes they take before class to use as reference...

Students will Immerse themselves in history and practice writing creatively while learning about ELA standards such as grammatical and punctuation rules.

The teachers that will teach this class are state certified educators or college professors. The main facilitator has a degree in  American history. We have been leading RPG and D&D style meetups for years now.

Their homework will be their research for the next moment in history.

Each learner will be writing a piece every week. This piece will garner them magical items they need for their quest.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Violent or Graphic Nature due to Supernatural monsters along with the study of a war time era. Potentially sensitive politic issues
