Take a tour of the Royal Tyrrell Museum without leaving your classroom! During this interactive virtual visit, we'll guide you through our galleries and exhibits. Marvel at creatures from ancient seas, explore Dinosaur Hall, and discover how life carried on after the asteroid impact that marked the end of the Age of Dinosaurs. Our tour will travel through 500 million years of evolution starting with the creatures from the Burgess Shale, one of the most important fossil resources ever discovered. We learn how life diversifies, evolves and eventually comes to dominate the land. Then, we visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum's Dinosaur Hall which houses one of the world's largest displays of dinosaur remains. With everything from the easily recognizable herbivore Triceratops, to the giant Camarasaurus, and the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex, Dinosaur Hall excites the dinosaur enthusiast in everyone. This program will conclude with a question and answer period, where you will be able to ask the experts anything you want to know about paleontology.
