In this one time course we will discuss the characters and plots of the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

Students will learn about why Shakespeare matters, and what the qualities and parts of Romeo and Juliet are.
I was trained to teach the Shakespeare Conquest class by the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute. I was an assistant in the class the first two years, and then I taught for the following two years. This is just one part of this class since it works better on the online platform. As part of the course one year, we studied Romeo and Juliet in depth by reading the entire play, and discussing it in detail.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Romeo and Juliet contains some mentions of sex. There is also a lot of violence involved. The play will be taught in a appropriate manner for the age intended. I highly suggest that students watch the plays after the class, however, it is up to the parent's discretion as to which productions are appropriate for their child as some of Shakespeare's plays contain adult content.
