Description

Class Experience

In this one-time art course, students will create a colorful St. Patrick's themed drawing by using a fun, random dice game to help us choose items to draw. We will also talk briefly about some St. Patrick's Day history while playing the game and coloring. 

Students can expect to learn:
- Tips for drawing basic cartoon-style human form
- Tips for drawing various items and accessories commonly found in the theme (St. Patrick's Day & Gnomes)
- Tips for drawing cartoon-style backgrounds
- Tips...

Students will learn tips for cartoon-style form drawing and backgrounds, as well as basic information and history about St. Patrick's Day.

  2 files available upon enrollment- Colored Pencils - For the Best Shading I HIGHLY Recommend Prismacolor Colored Pencils
- Sketchbook Paper or Similar
- Eraser
- Pencil Sharpener
- OPTIONAL: A Fine Point Sharpie for Outlining 
- OPTIONAL: Students who bring their own physical dice will get to take a turn rolling for one piece of the drawing!

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
