Roll Dice & Draw ESL Club: Beginner/Intermediate Vocabulary & Conversation Class

Welcome to the Roll & Draw ESL Club, a unique and engaging weekly enrichment class designed for young learners to improve their English language skills through creative drawing activities! In this class, students will roll a dice to determine different elements of their drawings, sparking their imagination and creativity while practicing English vocabulary and conversation skills.

Each week, we will focus on a new theme, such as animals, food, or places, and use our drawings as a fun way to learn and use new words. Students will have the opportunity to describe their drawings, ask questions, and engage in conversations with their peers, all in a supportive and interactive environment.

Who Can Join: This class is perfect for young learners who are beginners or intermediate English speakers. No prior drawing skills are required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Materials Needed:

Paper
Pencils, markers, or crayons
A six-sided dice (you can also find a dice app for the phone or Ipad)

05/12/2025 - 05/18/2025: Roll a Cat 🐱 Create diverse cats, exploring vocabulary about domestic animals, breeds, and behaviors while drawing and describing your feline companions.

05/19/2025 - 05/25/2025: Roll an Ice Cream 🍦 Craft unique ice creams by rolling the dice, delving into vocabulary tied to flavors, textures, and toppings while creating sweet frosty treats.

05/26/2025 - 06/01/2025: Roll a Dog 🐕 Generate imaginative dogs, learning vocabulary connected to breeds, sizes, temperaments, and characteristics while crafting delightful canine companions.

06/02/2025 - 06/08/2025: Roll a Character 🎭 Dive into creating fascinating characters, exploring traits, professions, settings, and backstories while bringing imaginative personas to life.
