Class Experience
Get creative writing fiction stories with a Roll-A-Story. Students will be guided through the writing process: plan, draft, revise, edit, and final. Students will be able to share their story with the rest of the class. What does the week look like? Students then plan their writing on the provided Planning Page. Day 2: Write a...
Students will learn the writing process and become more comfortable getting creative and fiction writing.
I have taught second grade for 7 years and 3rd grade for one year. I also focus a lot on preschool and even kindergarten with my own kids.
There is no homework for this class, but it is a flex class so they can move ahead and finish at their own pace.
Students will be provided multiple papers each week. These can be printed off for easier use. If a printer is not available students can use their own paper for each step. Students will need paper for the rough draft stage, pencils, red pen, and colorful pen as well.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
