Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to create and maintain a bullet journal for the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. The bullet journal style of note-taking will help them quickly find the information they need to know when referring to NPC’s (non-playable characters), quests, loot, and world lore.
I have taught high school art for ten years and have a Master of Art Education. Before my career as a teacher, I was a professional graphic designer for five years for the Love Advertising agency and the Houston Chronicle. Students will view visual examples of designs of Bullet Journals from around the world. I do not believe this is a sensitive or high-risk topic, but I have made every effort to be transparent with all expectations in this course.
Keeping up with a bullet journal can take as much or as little time as each student wants. Students can do it in as little as ten to fifteen minutes a day or an hour or two if they love to draw.
