Description

Class Experience

We will paint a cowgirl boot on canvas with the birthday girl. The participants will enjoy exploring their creativity while painting their own unique boot. Each girl will complete their painting and have a cherished keepsake to take home. No formal assessment will be given. I will encourage creativity and fun. Participants will paint a cowgirl boot on canvas while enjoying the birthday party.

No homework will be given.

Stretched canvas or canvas board for each girl
Basic acrylic paint: white, black, red, yellow, blue, brown, pink, purple
Paintbrushes of small to medium size
Disposable cups for washing paintbrushes
Disposable paper plates (to use as palettes)
Paper towels to clean paintbrushes
Newspaper or disposable tablecloth to cover painting surface
Old clothes, large t-shirt or apron to protect clothing

No formal assessment will be given.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
