US Grade 2 - 5
Rockstar readers is an intervention class to help readers better decode words by learning about various spelling patterns. This course also works on comprehension and writing. There will be 2 stories that we will read and reread and do activities related to. Each week 4 video lessons will be posted with worksheets/homework to go along with most. I am a Special Education teacher with much experience with struggling readers. I also have my state license in reading specialty as well as moderate disabilities.
Homework Offered
There is optional homework to go along with each lesson. Homeowork is short, about 10-15 minutes per lesson. The learner will be expected to reread the text once a week to work on fluency.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Dependent on parent requests, I can grade student work upon request.Grades Offered
