What's included

Homework
1 hour per week. There is optional homework to go along with each lesson. Homeowork is short, about 10-15 minutes per lesson. The learner will be expected to reread the text once a week to work on fluency.
Assessment
Dependent on parent requests, I can grade student work upon request.

Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Rockstar readers is an intervention class to help readers better decode words by learning about various spelling patterns. This course also works on comprehension and writing. There will be 2 stories that we will read and reread and do activities related to. Each week 4 video lessons will be posted with worksheets/homework to go along with most. You can submit work for feedback to my email or flipgrid as needed. I will be on the class page daily to answer any questions you may have. The course includes videos, games, and discussion posts. Students will discuss on classroom posts an/or on flipgrid with other students and the teacher daily. I will be available daily to answer any questions.  Also, Jeopardy games are included and we can set up times for students to play with classmates! Students can submit video assignments as well for review. Homework will have options for diverse student needs. For example there may be worksheets or project options.

There is a part 2 to this class as well that will be covering more indepth reading and comprehension.
