Description

Class Experience

In this 5-week flex class, students will learn all about minerals and rocks, what they are and what they’re made of, including rock cycle.

Great for ages 6 to 14 and advanced/gifted 5 year olds.

Although, we won’t be meeting live, there will be plenty of student-teacher interactions in Outschool classroom. Daily personalised feedback recordings will be provided by the teacher. I will lead discussions via posts in the Outschool classroom. I will check in with you daily except weekends. The...

I have taught Science, English, and Art in a classroom setting and online for over 5 years. I have taught kids and adults and completed many projects and experiments. I have also worked as a research assistant alongside professors at a University for 2 years.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Adult supervision is needed during DIY activities and collecting rocks. Kahoot will be used to play game quizzes. No account needed.
