Let's explore how rocks and fossils are made! Students will be introduced to the three different types of rocks: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Students will take a look at real samples from each. We'll learn the different characteristics of each type of rock and how they are created. We'll also learn about minerals, ores and how to test for hardness. Students will also learn how fossils are created and the different type of fossils.

Allison Bruning is a certified elementary teacher from Texas. She has over fifteen years of teaching experience in private and public schools. Her hobbies include writing, reading, hiking, camping and spending time with her family. Allison is a bestselling author of several novels, short stories, poetry, children's books and graphic novels.
