Did you know "R" is the hardest sound in the English language to say? Students will learn all about the "R" sound and practice saying the "R" sound in a safe, supportive environment with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about the parts of the mouth and how they work together to say the "R" sound. Students will learn tips and tricks for producing the "R" sound. Students will practice saying the "R" sound in a variety of contexts at the word, sentence, and conversation level. Students will practice reading words with the letter "R" and work on letter-sound correspondence Students will improve their phonemic and phonological awareness skills
I have been a licensed speech language pathologist since 2016. I currently hold a state license and an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. I am also an ESL teacher.
Homework is optional and will include one activity that should take less than 5-10 minutes to complete.
No supplies needed, pencil and paper optional.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Observation
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
