Class Experience

This class brings students together to discuss their techniques, work together and create friendships while playing Rocket League. Rocket League is an easy to pick up game yet has a deep learning curve. One of the best ways to improve is by having good communication with your team. This weekly class will allow students to communicate with their team in an effective and fun way. While the goal is to win every match, it is more important to have fun along the way. Students will understand that sometimes you learn the most from losing, as this is how you learn about your weaknesses and how to improve them.

Each week will be different and will be chosen by the students, so a weekly schedule does not happen. Some of the classes will be working together to go against random people online together or have friendly battles between one another.

As the teacher I will be facilitating the lesson by making sure all students are able to join, keep the matches running, keeping conversations going and making sure everyone feels happy and safe.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I mainly teach English-based classes with a focus on video games to engage learners. I have a Primary (Elementary) Education degree, making me a qualified teacher. I have an Education support staff qualification which qualifies me to teach small groups at a High School level and to appropriately teach students with various special needs. I believe students should have fun while learning, this makes students look forward to attending classes and trying their best. My love for video games has made me compete in many tournaments worldwide! Hopefully, I can give some of my students tips and tricks!
