Students will make art using three mediums: rock (and paint), paper, scissors.
I have been painting for over 22 years. I have taught painting and other forms of arts and crafts to students from age three years to adult. I love sharing the energy of creativity and fostering a belief in everyone that an artist lives inside of them.
There will not be any homework, but artists can finish projects that they did not complete in class.
Supply list: Rock: • large smooth rocks (can be purchased at Wal-Mart or sourced from nature. If you find a rock outside, be sure to wash it and let it dry before class.) • acrylic paint • paint brushes • Sharpies Paper: • a variety color pack of lightweight construction paper • washi paper or origami paper (available at craft stores and on Amazon or other online merchants) Scissors: • scissors • old magazines • a variety color pack of lightweight construction paper • washi paper or origami paper (available at craft stores and on Amazon or other online merchants) • glue (Elmer’s school glue, glue stick, any clear-drying, non-toxic glue) • canvas board, poster board, cardboard (any sturdy paper or lightweight wood)
There will not be an assessment for this class.
