Robotics STEM Club: Cracking the mBot Robots Code: for Young Robotics Enthusiasts
In this outgoing robotics club, learners who own any mBot robotics set, ages 7-10, will enjoy using their robots and sharing their designs and projects with other young STEM enthusiasts and future roboticists. Required but NOT included: Any programmable Makeblock series robot.

Each session is full of projects based on Passion, Collaboration with Peers, and a Playful Spirit. It is full of hands-on Memorable, Meaningful, and Motivating activities, specially designed for girls and boys, 7-10 years old. This club is a discovery class where the only academic requirement is a passion for learning and creating. In this live club, each student will: - Participate in a session with other enthusiasts his/her age group (7-10) who own any programmable robotic platform at home, discovering and enjoying their own robots. - Enjoy an hour of personalized project-based discussion and interest-based projects. - Learn to design, build, create, and code models that will require an engineer's eye. - Collaborate with small groups (6 enthusiasts maximum per session) with one adult certified live instructor. The 60 minutes meetings are incredibly interactive: 10-minute lecture using videos and slides. 40-minute self-paced creation. 10-minute discussion of achievements.
Learning Goals
In this club, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to be a Robotics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to build and program your own robot through various obstacles and challenges according to your interests and skills.
For this club, enthusiasts will be programming and building projects using their robots. Participants will enjoy programming robots, create their own simple challenges, and share their creations with other participants.
Robotics is a growing field in our world that is constantly changing and advancing in technology. With the instructor's guide, participants will learn that they, too, can become better roboticists.
