Robotics is a growing field in our world that is constantly changing and advancing in technology. In this course, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to be a Robotics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to build and program your own robot through various obstacles and challenges presented throughout the class. Students will be creating models, programming, and building robots using the Lego Education WeDo 2.0 set for this course. Students will learn that being a Robotics Engineer starts with understanding a robot's parts and building and programming solutions to everyday problems. With the guide of an instructor, students will learn that they too can be Robotics Engineer.
Homework Offered
Students will be allowed to continue to build and program their robots in between meetings. Before every class, students can present their projects and the improvements they made in the process.Assessments Offered

Parents are advised to stay nearby while the class is running to offer technical support if there is an issue with the internet and/or the platform. The robot platform communicates using Bluetooth technology, and Zoom meetings sometimes require some troubleshooting.
