Class experience
Each session is full of projects based on Passion, Collaboration with Peers, and a Playful Spirit. It is full of hands-on Memorable, Meaningful, and Motivating activities, specially designed for girls and boys, 10-14 years old. Robotics is a growing field in our world that is constantly changing and advancing in technology. In this course, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to be a Robotics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to build and program your own robot through various obstacles and challenges presented throughout the class. For this course, students will be programming and building the Lego Mindstorms Robot Inventor. Students will be using it to learn to program robots, create their projects, and share their creations. Students will learn that being a Robotics Engineer starts with understanding a robot's parts and building and programming several simple tasks. With the instructor's guide, students will learn that they, too, can be a part of the Robotics Engineer process if they are willing to try.
Bright & Smart was founded in 2005. We have been teaching and developing our programs for the past 15 years. We create our programs with students' learning experience in mind; we want them to learn to love STEM and develop their higher cognitive skills and natural abilities; we help them see themselves as technology creators.
Homework Offered
Students will be allowed to continue to build and program their robots in between meetings. Before every class, students can present their projects and the improvements they made in the process.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
