***We will not be playing Roblox in class.*** ***This is a discussion-based class. Please note there will NOT be a lecture in this class.*** Please note: If your learner has a difficult time sitting still, I offer a 20-minute Roblox class, as well. This may be a better fit for younger students who are still adapting to online learning. Roblox can be an incredible game to play! There are lots of fun things to do and explore. In this class, we'll spend 45 minutes talking about the wonderful things we like about Roblox and how we can become better players! In this class, your child will have a chance to: -Discuss Internet safety while playing Roblox -Identify the things they like about Roblox -Communicate using descriptive words and phrases -Listen to other learners who also enjoy this game -Share their tips and tricks for improving gameplay -Learn fun facts about Roblox -Listen to some fun facts and pointers shared from the teacher Roblox is a great game because anyone can learn to play it well. In this class, students will have a chance to share what they like about this game and why it's so important. We'll discuss tips and tricks for gameplay. Students may share their gamertags in the Outschool classroom so they can add each other after class.

Communication isn't always easy, but in my classes, students learn that it can be fun! I offer writing, communication, and social classes based on topics kids love. Learning doesn't have to be boring, so I offer Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, and even Harry Potter classes designed to get your learners thinking about different ways to share their thoughts and express themselves. I offer writing, science, and social classes designed to help your learner share their thoughts in a safe environment.
I hope that after class, each student will walk away from our time together feeling more confident and comfortable with their own communication skills. My goal as an educator is to help students feel great about their writing and communication skills and to learn how to improve in new and creative ways.
I'm a professional writer with 19 years of experience as an article creator, novelist, and editor. I've published several bestselling books and love both creative and technical writing. I also teach writing at homeschool co-ops and online for teens and adults.
