Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this 4-week beginner-friendly course, students aged 7-12 will get their first introduction to Lua scripting in Roblox Studio. They will learn how to use simple scripts to make their games more interactive—creating buttons, moving platforms, power-ups, and other fun gameplay elements. Each week, students will build on their knowledge by applying scripting concepts to their own platformer-style game. By the end of the course, they will have a playable game with interactive features that they can share with friends. ✨ What You’ll Learn: • Basic Lua scripting and how it controls game interactions • Using scripts to create buttons, moving platforms, and power-ups • Understanding events and triggers to make the game respond to players • Designing and testing a simple platformer game with interactive features 🚀 Why This Class? Students will gain confidence in programming, problem-solving, and creative thinking as they bring their ideas to life.
