Learn how to create your own Roblox games in Roblox Studio. By navigating the different windows, we can add toolbox items to our game, create parts, change materials, and more! Each week, we will focus on different themes.
Class experience
We will learn a new sill or theme each week of class. Students will learn how to read code that the teacher creates and shares with the students. We do not create our own code in class but focus more on creating in Roblox Studio or using items from the Toolbox to add to our own creations. We will primarily use the Explorer, Properties, Toolbox, and Terrain Editor menus/features. Students will improve their understanding of the functions in Roblox Studio, beginning coding language, and how to save their progress.
DEM Academy Our Teachers at DEM Academy have 8+ years of experience teaching and tutoring ELA to students K-12, virtually and with homeschool/co-op groups. Our teachers are kind, patient, fun, and know the importance of establishing a safe space to learn, grow and take risks.

Roblox Studio can be used by children of any age. Children under the age of 13 should be directly supervised by a parent, guardian or another authorized adult (such as a teacher) who agrees to be bound by our Terms of Use. Teachers will also share a Google Doc Guide for the students to access during class so they can follow along at their own pace. This does not require a sign in by the students and is completely anonymous.
